FenX is a French artist born in 1974 and currently based in Paris.
As a teenager, he was already into graffiti, hip hop and skateboard so in the middle of the 90’s, he chose his name: FenX. His first idea when he started making graffiti was a way to defy the orders.
Little by little, he decided to move to another medium, from walls to canvas, to create permanent pieces.
He took his inspiration among artists such as Warhol, John “Crash” Matos or Lichtenstein and often reinterpreted some Pop-art masterpieces by putting inside some urban energy and introducing a reflection about our society through hidden sentences, details or even in the titles of artworks.
His work has been exhibited in Europe and abroad (USA, Singapore or Hong Kong).
